Frank Ocean Forgives Chris Brown; Won't Pursue Criminal Charges

After a parking lot scuffle with Chris Brown, Frank Ocean has announced that he will not press criminal charges or otherwise retaliate.

Last Sunday, at the Westlake Studio in Los Angeles, a fight allegedly occurred between six men, including the two musicians, over a parking space. According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department, "The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim." As for Frank, he tweeted, "got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol."

The "Pyramids" singer took to his Tumblr page on Saturday to write: "As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer. I?m an artist and a modern person. I?ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom."

Putting the issue to the rest, Mr. Ocean concluded, "Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace."
