She certainly made a stir when photos of her reading to elementary students emerged this week, but Sasha Grey just wants to help the community.
The former porn star appeared on ?The View? on Wednesday (November 16) and stated that she does not appreciate the negative hype now revolving around her and that her background should have nothing to do with how she contributes in the classroom.
She told the ladies of the ABC show, "I feel that there was a lot of sanctimonious media firestorm thrown at me. However, I've always gone after what I want, and I will continue to do that."
In an effort to save face, the Compton Unified School District where Sasha visited released this statement: "The outside talent coordinator listed the actress as a mainstream actress from the HBO show 'Entourage,.? Although we have worked with this talent coordinator for several years, we will meet to review the participant selection process."
