Some people are lucky in life. And those people -- according to Norwegian bank DNB NOR -- marry George Clooney.
A new ad for the company kicks off with a Hangover-style scenario: A pretty blonde wakes up very tousled and disoriented in bed with a garter around her thigh and a horse-head mask lying on the floor. She finds a bunch of Polaroids on a desk that show her happily married to a man wearing said mask, and a wedding dress is strewn nearby. All of this seems like a recipe for disaster... that is, until a pajama-clad Clooney walks into the room. See what happens in the video below!
"Oh hey there. I was letting you sleep," he says, flashing his token smile. "Like your dress. It looks better off than on," he adds with a giggle.
Clooney then goes on to tell his shocked bride that he had been "looking at places for us in Lillestrom," stumbling over the pronunciation of the Norwegian city. As Clooney happily kisses his dazed bride on the forehead, the screen goes to black with a title card that reads: "Some people are lucky in life. For the rest of us, saving up can be smart." Considering Clooney has long said that he will never marry again, we're assuming that DNB NOR is referring to all of us.
The whole ad plays off Clooney's notorious bachelor status: The 50-year-old actor recently split with Italian model (and current Dancing with the Stars contestant) Elisabetta Canalis -- likely because she wanted to settle down -- and he's now dating leggy former WWE star Stacy Keibler.
